I have diesel 86' 524td that I changed the glow plugs on. They run the length of the engine kind of like spark plugs. There are (is) probably six of them. They are smaller than spark plugs and have a wire on top of each one. Be carefull, the wire is held on by a small nut. Take that off first, then the glow plug. For the plug itself you'll need a deep socket like a spark plug socket only smaller. The ones in the front will be easier than the back because of wiring or accessories. Here's a tip from experience. Replace ALL of them at once. It will save you aggrevation in the long run from changing one or two now and later. Good luck. rich c.
in the boot
i think you have to change the evacuation gallery.

The recommended type of coolant for a 2006 BMW 530d is Glysantin G48. You can use other coolants in an emergency, but don't leave them in your car long term.
I own BMW 530d 2006 model and the outside temp sensor is inside front bumper (front left bottom of bumper)
The 530d is a BMW 5 series. More information on the car can be found online at the following websites: Vehix, BMW, eBay, Top Gear, What Car, and Gum Tree.
6 litres
If it's located in the same place as in my 2000 530D it's located in the back behind the cover on right side, right inside of the back door.
the bmw 320d is a diesel car therefore it does not have spark plugs as it uses pressure to ignite the fuel rather than a spark it does however have glow plugs which function to heat the engine internally when starting and will show up on the dashboard display as a spring like symbol if they need changing ie the light does not go out after the car starts rather it stays lit while driving then you need to change them
