I'm about to do this for my friends wife. One of the two coolant lines running to the rear heater has sprung a leak and the other looks just as bad. The lines under the van are rubber w/ about a 2 foot section of metal line in the middle where they bolt to the undercarage. That is where the leak is. The van is leaking anti-freeze from one line and both are very rusty in the middle. I can't find good used parts and they are on a budget w/ kids and all so I am not going to the dealership to pay $117.00 for each of the two coolant lines running to the rear heater. Instead a lifetime radiator man told me I can just cut the coolant line just b4 the rusty metal (where it is rubber) and and just after (Rubber again) and replace it w/ copper tubing and use hose clamps to clamp it together. Any hardware store or Home Depot will have tubing. The tube must be a snug fit and the clamp must be the right size.
