Remove the grill by pulling it off starting in a corner

Lift the two slide clips with a screwdriver - one is on a top corner the other is on the side.

Remove the side marker lamp with a twist and the headlight is in your hands.romove the connectors and replace the bulb.

Above procedure time: 30-60 minutes Rmv/Rpl

For a 2005, Try this...

  1. Lift the hood (Did I really need to say that? Oh well..)
  2. Get your hand on the back of the waterproof, round cover and apply steady pulling pressure to remove it. It has a series of rings that keep it attached and it's snug. After you pop it off, VIOLA! The bulb; she is there!
  3. Give the bulb a 1/8 turn counter-clockwise and carefully pull it out of the assembly.
  4. There's an obvious clip that holds the bulb in the plug; pop it and remove the bulb.
  5. Reverse the procedure (from 4 back to 1) and you're done.

Above procedure time: <5 minutes

I got into it by just taking off the metal bar that goes across the battery box. Notice that this bar has a brace attached to the bottom of the battery box. This amounted to removing 2 screws and 1 nut. Then procede to take the rubber covering off the back of the light. I had to use a screw driver to get it started. Then twist the bulb out and take the bulb off the wiring harness. Then take the bulb to a car parts place and let them give you a bulb. Take the gray (or black) piece that holds the bulb.

Be sure to get the headlight bulb out and not the turn signal light as I first did. This all took place on the driver's side low beam. I have medium to large size hands and it was a squeeze but I didn't want to take the grill off. If your hands are too large, you might get your wife or some kid to reach in there and twist the bulb out. It took 10 minutes or so. Mine is a 2004 trailblazer.

How do i change a direction of a light beam?

To change the direction of a light beam, you can use mirrors or lenses to reflect or refract the light in the desired direction. Adjusting the angle of the mirror or lens will change the direction of the light beam. Alternatively, you can physically move the light source or the object the light is reflecting off of to change the direction of the beam.
