When you pop the hood you will notice a cover over the engine that says 2.4 L TWIN CAM...(its metal). You will notice bolts (I think its 4). Basically what you do it undo everything that holds that cover and unplug the wire harness and the cover will pop up. This cover has built in wires in a sense that are attached to the underneath of that cover. So that is why your plugs would be underneath. Its a neat design if you ask me. Hope this helps.
