Changing the box is real easy. It is above the drivers side kick panel. It is a black box with a few sets of cables attached to it which unplug. BE AWARE: the box may be easy to replace but the information stored on the old box has to be transfered to the new one. Usually the only people capable of doing that is a Chevy dealer. Once the new box is programed it can't be changed so unfortunately if replacing the box doesn't solve your problem you bought a box for nothing. Changing the box is real easy. it may be the relay switch or a fuse blown check under the hood in fuse box #1 and fuse box #2.

The BCM is under the glove box. There are two 9mm bolts that hold in the cover plate. The BCM is right above the fan bower motor
