If you have an automatic transmission. Then you do not have a shift indicator light.
Look at getting a new transmission
IT COULD EXPLODE RIGHT THROUGH THE CASE.
There is an internal clutch failure.
It can be getting there through the head gasket, a crack in the head, or it may actually be transmission fluid if it has an automatic transmission. The automatic trans. cooler lines run through the radiator on most vehicles. If your unable to solve the problem, have the radiator pressure tested...
A clogged lubrication passage would cause a failure of whatever component is not getting the fluid.
Oh, dude, the transmission fill plug on a 2005 Cavalier automatic transmission is located on the side of the transmission case. You'll need to jack up the car and slide under to find it. Make sure you have the right tools and be careful not to spill transmission fluid all over yourself. Good luck, man!
Yes, water can enter the automatic transmission during high water crossings if the transmission vent is submerged or damaged. This can cause damage to the transmission components and lead to problems with shifting and overall performance. It's always best to avoid driving through water that is deep enough to submerge vital vehicle components.
It matters on what engine and transmission you are going to be using, lets say you are getting the same engine just manual tranny that along is about $1700 plus labor your looking at minimum of $2700 close to $3000 if you do not do it yourself.
I'm not a mechanic / technician but I read once that the modulator valve for the automatic transmission has a vacuum line connected from the valve to the engine and that transmission fluid can be sucked into the engine if something goes wrong with the valve
Replace the transmission fluid from Honda Dealer.. simply drain from drain pitcock and refill. The damage may be to much at this point pending how many miles you have. There is no transmission filter to deal with. Worst case it may give you a little while longer on the transmission. ...this is assuming you have an automatic trans, that was not stated in the ? Honda automatic transmission are a weak link in their automobiles.
if you have 4x4 you can pull 1500 pounds but even if you do have 4x4 i suggest getting a transmission cooling system from uhaul if you have an automatic transmission because even though it says its okay to tow, if your tracker did NOT come with a tow package from the factory (which none of them did) then you need the transmission cooling system or you will fry your transmission and damage your transfer case.
Yes. It is good quality and i prefer it over any other console.
