Between the two front seats where the hand brake and shifter are is usually what is called a centre console
Under the center console, between the front seats.

In a 2004 Chevrolet Avalanche, the amplifier is typically located in the center console or under one of the front seats. It is part of the vehicle's audio system and is responsible for boosting the audio signal before it is sent to the speakers. To access the amplifier for maintenance or upgrades, you may need to remove the center console or lift the front seats to locate it.
its under the center console between the seats
Yes two back seats, plus a center back console
The ecm is located behind the "glove box", in the center console between the seats.
The lever should be located in the center console between the seats.
They hold 5 or six people. It depends on if the front has a center console.

We bought a new 2006 Navigator with a center console in the 2nd row of seats, but we wanted seating for 8. At our request, the dealer had the console removed and replaced with a separate seat that sits between the 2 that were originally in the vehicle. This separate center seat folds down, with a little more effort than the two original seats in row 2. Looking at it, you'd never know it was changed out after we bought the vehicle. Don't know how much work it would take to do this, but it definitely can be done. Hope this helps.
