It is on the left front of engine. Points at the left front cam shaft. UNplug the wire , unscrew bolt, and pull sensor out.
I'm not a mechanic / technician but I assume that would be : Bank 2 , sensor 1 Bank 2 is the drivers side of the engine in a 1999 Ford Explorer Sensor 1 would be the oxygen sensor somewhere in the exhaust before the exhaust enters the catalytic converter ( upstream sensor )
