How do you change the fuel filter on a 1987 Pontiac Fiero GT?

I don't know if this helps, but the fuel filter is located under the car. Since the fuel tank is between the seats I would say it is located slightly aft of the tank. I had my mechanic replace mine so can't tell you how to stop fuel flow, etc.
