Your fuel pump on a G series Chevy van will most likely be in one of 3 locations.
If it is a mechanical pump it will be located on the engine block. 2 mounting bolts bolts and a fuel line in and out will be seen. If you feel spring load resistance on the pump lever when you try to replace it just rotate the engine to where the cam is not pressing on the lever.
If not it is most likely located in the top of the fuel tank or mounted on the frame rails.
Just trace the fuel lines backwards and you will find it.
