The process is actually pretty simple. You do not need to remove any panels, bolts are anything but the actual switch. Grab some needle nose pliers, i prefer to use duckbill, but not everyone has them, and pull out the old switch, there should be a lip you can grab just below the trim. It took a little fanagling for me, but i got it. The whole switch will come out and there should be an empty socket now. To reinstall the switch, simply press the new one into the socket.
