Ford makes this stuff fairly easy- though it might be a little scary. First work your fingernails around the entire window switch and power mirror switch bezel. It helps if you can push the bezel in the opposite direction- say if you're trying to pull up the back side of the bezel, push it towards the front. The bezel just pops up, and is held in by 2 clips at the front and rear of the bezel. It takes quite a bit of ummph to get it up- but don't worry, you won't break anything. Now that the power window/mirror bezel is out, flip it over, and unplug the mirror switch. Look at the back side of the switch, and you'll notice 2 clips- one on the front side, and one on the window side of the switch. You'll have to push hard on one at a time to release the clips. Once the clips are freed, the switch lever's out on the side opposite of the clip on the side.
I just removed mine for the 4th time. Hopefully I can find a replacement!! I'm not sure, but the Expedition and Taurus power mirror switches look similar, and might work.
