Well there are three distinct possibilities. 1. Changing the wiper insert. One end will have two 'bumps' on the thin steel rails that hold the rubber part of the insert. Squeeze these bumps down so that they slide through the 'claws' on the wiper blade. Remove the wiper insert and replace. 2. Change the blade and insert together. There is a catch at the blade end of the wiper arm. It's basically at the center of the blade and slides into that end of the wiper arm. Depress the catch and work the blade off by sliding it toward the pivot end of the arm. (slide toward the end attached to the vehicle). Replace with a new blade assembly in opposite fashion. 3. Removing the entire arm. You'll probably want to remove the spare tire. The arm is attached to the servo motor with a nut. The nut is under a cap that is a part of the arm assembly. Lift the 'cap' up to access the nut. Removing the nut will allow you remove the entire arm. You might want to use a spray of WD-40 or light machine oil on the nut threads, because if you damage or strip these threads you have a wholly another class of repair to make.

What is the rear wiper blade size on a 2003 jeep liberty?

I do not see aftermarket replacement rear wiper blades nor rear wiper refills listed in the aftermarket wiper catalogs for the 2003 Jeep Liberty. This would possibly indicate that the rear wiper was a proprietary Jeep technology/design and you may have to go to the dealer for the parts and possibly labor. Before doing this (because its usually a little more expensive going through the dealer), you may want to visit some internet forums and see if there's other ideas out there. Google "jeep liberty forums" then search "rear wiper 2003" once in the forums. I'm sure there's rapport on this topic. As far as front wiper blades, The 2003 Jeep Liberty takes 19" replacement windshield wiper blades on both sides front and aftermarket wipers are available. Note, when buying wipers be sure to always lookup your vehicle make, model and year in the application guide book at the store, or now-a-days you can Google 'lookup wiper size'.
