They are located under the resonator box that says Vortec 4200. Due to the dual overhead cam configuration the plugs are on the top of the motor under individual coil packs. You must remove the coil packs and pull them off the top of the plug. Each coil pack is held in place with a long skinny bolt and care must be taken when removing the bolt. (give it a tap with a hammer to ensure it is loose then try the 3/8 drive ratchet)
