locate the thermostat (it should be at the end of the upper radiator hose where it connects to the engine) loosen the bolts that hold the housing in place and lift it off remove the thermostat and replace it you should also thorough clean the contact surfaces and install a new gasket (you don't necessary have to do this but its a $2 part and it will ensure a leak free seal.

Remember to inspect all coolant hoses at this time looks for cracks or soft spots if any are found replace the hose.
