With your stereo turned off, you use the audio control buttons (the up and down arrows, right next to the "audio" button) The down arrow is hours, up arrow is minutes. Hold down the button til you here a tiny beep, then it will allow you to fix the time. Just hit the button until you get to the correct hour/minute.

Well yes and no. Both have a 2.2 four cylinder if I'm not mistaken, but I don't think the earlier Cavalier's have the EcoTec motor. And you should be able to get the engine from the '03 into the '97 with no problem.
