You can get a filter kit from most auto supply stores. Drop the pan, drain the fluid, (this is a good time to add a drain plug kit) clean the pan, change the filter, reinstall the pan with new gasket, refill.
Neither is the plug you are looking for. On a GM transmission you need to drop the pan to change the fluid. May as well change the filter while you are in there and sue some kind of silicon sealer when you put it back together or it will leak for sure.
The transmission fluid capacity of a 1974 Chevy Nova is 10 quarts. This includes a large amount of fluid which is stored in the transmission and torque converter which is never fully drained.
Yes, a 1965 Chevy Nova typically has transmission cooler lines if it is equipped with an automatic transmission. These lines carry transmission fluid to and from the radiator to help regulate the transmission’s temperature. If the vehicle has a manual transmission, it would not have these lines.
yes it will.you might need to change drive line length but it will go right in
Pass., side, rear of the motor.
Depends on the year..
Probably a Turbo 350 short tail.
go to the autoparts store, they'll tell you
How do you change the heater core on a 1978 Chevy Nova Custom with a 305 v8 engine and where is it located on the car? thanks jj
I believe it was the 64 Chevy Nova
It depends on how you plan to use the car.
They make kits that will allow you to install one.
