Well for one, if it's a manual transmission...you don't.
If it's an automatic transmisson, there is a drain plug right underneath the transmission. It's easy to see.
wrong. there is no plug for transmission you have to remove the pan and replace the gasket. where the transmission plug should be will be a gear box if u remove that plug u will drain gear oil.

You can not check the transmission fluid on the 2002 L200 or L300, due to this transmission is a sealed transmission. I bought my L200 new and this is one of the new transmissions Saturn was using from Germany. My question at this point is when does the transmission fluid need to be change. Mine has 100k miles plus. I have a chiltons manual on this particular model and this manual gives very ggod directions on how to change the fluid, filter etc. But when. Is 100k miles time to change the fluid and filter. Now I know where to get this answer, call our local Saturn dealer and ask the question.

2.5 Quarts
A 2002 Saturn L200 typically requires about 7 quarts of transmission fluid when performing a complete transmission fluid change, including a filter replacement. However, if you're just checking the fluid level or topping it off, the amount needed may be less. Always refer to the owner's manual for the most accurate specifications and recommendations.
The 2002 Saturn Vue uses Dexron III Automatic Transmission Fluid. It's important to ensure that the fluid meets the required specifications for optimal performance and longevity of the transmission. Always consult the owner's manual or a professional mechanic for the most accurate information.
When adding fluids to the car it is important to add the right type of fluids. A 2002 Saturn sc2 uses Dexron-III/Mercon transmission fluid.
