Most of the Ford Family of cars have the Pin type wiper holders. In which case, breaking that plastic piece on the wiper itself is really the easiest way to remove them.
To replace them, just insert the pin through the metal of the wiper and the plastic insert. It should make a click sound and check to make sure it's in there good.
