There are two plugs on the transmission. An upper and a lower plug. The lower is to drain the fluid and the upper is to fill. To check the fluid level remove the upper bolt plug and stick your finger in the hole. If you can feel oil it is full. Make sure the engine is off and that you replace the bolt plug after.
