Strutmasters make an excellent kit, easy directions, a regular guy with regular tools can do it.
No it's not an excellant kit it's inferior and poor quality. You can fix your air suspension easier and probably cheaper without depreciating the value of your car. Hope this helps

The coil spring provides suspension and absorbs shock.
Coilovers are coil springs designed to be mounted on the shock (special shock). It is a packaging/handling design that takes up less space than seperate coil spring/ shocks. They usually allow suspension height adjustment and improved handling.
i need a diagram for a 1984 caprice front suspension or if someone can tell me if the shock connected to the coil spring?
spring has been over loaded

a coilover..
coil spring indpendent.
It is front suspension.
A strut is a combination of a shock absorber and a coil spring
better road handaling and better braking
Assuming we're talking about Coild over springs. you need a compression device that allows the spring to stay compressed and remove of the suspension shock easily.
The main types of bike suspension systems are coil spring, air spring, and elastomer. Coil spring systems use a metal coil to absorb shocks, air spring systems use compressed air, and elastomer systems use a rubber-like material. Riders can choose the type of suspension based on their riding style and preferences.
