Had the same prob. w/ my 04 touring The owners man. gives directions that didn't work for me. I played with it trying many things and got it to turn off. I think what I did was... Doors closed- parking brake on- turn key to run positon (engine not started)- wait for seatbelt light to go out- then fasten seatbelt three times, allowing the belt to retract (to the position where it is not being used) in between each time it is fastened- finish with the belt fastened if it works you will hear a single chime to confirm. I did this in a time of 10 to 20 seconds. I hope I remembered properly I struggled so long with this issue I'm afraid to play with it now that I got it turned off.
