I also have a problem with an annoying alarm on my firebird, depending on whether it is an aftermarket system or a factory system here are a few ideas that may help. 1. Some alarm systems will have a switch underneath the driverside dash, flip it on and off three times (sometimes its a differant number) and it should do the trick. 2. Aftermarket alarm systems usually have the fuse for the alarm in the somewhere in the factory fuse box, although this fuse will most likely not be labled if u one by one disconnect differant fuses and check to see if the alarm is still working it is worth the time. 3. Depending on the alarm there may be a valet switch located somewhere in the cabin, the valet switch will temporaraly disable the alarm until you switch it back on. 4. I dont recommend using this last bit of advice im about to give but if the alarm is annoying enough and you have just about had it with the system you can disable the horn simply by finding the marked fuse.
