I am assuming you mean how do you remove the water pump because you don't want to take the water pump apart since you cannot get parts for it. To remove the pump for replacement:
Water pump removal (V6)
Removal of the water pump on a 1995 Ford Aerostar V6 3.0 non AWD begins by removing the drive belts and accessories. The water pump can then be unbolted and pulled from the engine.
The fuel pump on a 1997 Ford Aerostar XLT is located on right side under the battery. This is connected to the back wall.
It is inside the fuel tank.
To replace the water pump on a 1995 Ford Aerostar, first, disconnect the battery and drain the coolant. Remove the serpentine belt and any components obstructing access, such as the radiator or fan shroud if necessary. Unbolt the water pump from the engine block, clean the mounting surface, and install the new pump with a new gasket or sealant. Finally, reassemble everything, refill the coolant, and reconnect the battery.
To separate the clutch fan from the water pump on a 1996 Ford Aerostar Van, first, ensure the engine is cool and disconnect the negative battery cable. Remove the fan shroud for better access, then use a wrench to hold the water pump pulley in place. Use a socket and ratchet to remove the bolts securing the fan clutch to the water pump. Once the bolts are removed, carefully pull the fan clutch off the water pump shaft.
The weep hole is "an indicator of bad bearings and/or seals" in the water pump when antifreeze starts to drip or run out of it. If antifreeze is coming out the weep hole, change the water pump.
The electric fuel pump is inside the fuel tank
Believe it or not it's inside the gas tank.
On the 1989 Aerostar it is under the dash near the passenger door.
Remove radiator, serpentine belt, bracket for power steering, and you should be able to get to all water pump bolts, although I'm having a hard time removing fan from pump.
Needs coolant and/or needs to be put back in timing/slack belt/deffective water pump.
To replace the water pump on a 1991 Ford Aerostar, first disconnect the battery and drain the cooling system. Then, remove the serpentine belt and any components obstructing access to the water pump, such as the alternator or power steering pump. Unbolt the old water pump from the engine and clean the mounting surface before installing the new pump with a new gasket. Reassemble everything in reverse order, refill the cooling system, and run the engine to check for leaks.
