on dash buttons by speedo use them to scroll to desired action and one is to shut off running boards but if it is ruunning battery down you may need to unplug them until the motors can be replaced
To replace a Lincoln Navigator running board, first, ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface and secure it with wheel chocks. Remove any necessary trim pieces or fasteners holding the old running board in place, then disconnect any wiring if it’s powered. Position the new running board and secure it using the provided brackets and hardware, ensuring all connections are tight. Finally, reattach any trim pieces and test the functionality if applicable.
To fix the electric running boards on a 2003 Lincoln Navigator, first, check the fuse related to the running boards, as a blown fuse can prevent them from functioning. Inspect the wiring for any visible damage or loose connections. If the motors are not working, you may need to replace them; this involves removing the running board assembly and installing new motors. Lastly, ensure the sensors are clean and functioning properly, as they trigger the boards to deploy.
When you have the navigator on board (a skilled crewman) you can sail faster. Hire the navigator at Parrot Port.
Look up by the parking brake under the dash board. They used to put a sticker there with the master keyless entry code on it.

I don't know about on a navigator...but on my 05 Town Car the unit is behind the glove box. Unscrew the glove box screws and the box will pull out, revealing the control board behind it. Since manufacturers tend not to reinvent the wheel with each model, the Navigator >might< have it's in the same place. Hope that helps, good luck!
I own a 2003 Navigator and the code is located on the passenger side under the dash. I had to get down with my back on the floor board and I found it on a white sticker behind some wiring on the outerside towards the far right (passenger side). There was a 5 digit code. Take a flashlight and good luck. Rob
old short guys like me find it easier to get in and out when there is a running board step
This is caused by a defective or misaligned door ajar switch. You need to get a wiring diagram and verify open-closed switch function of each individual sensor. If you have the wiring diagram please post. You are not alone!Answerlook here -> http://www.cartrackers.com/Forums/live/fordwindstar/20.html
I think an election board is a list of people running in an election.
Probably a leaky heater core. Look in the passenger side floor board (maybe driver side as well) and see if the carpet is wet. These are all tell tell signs of a heater core that is leaking.
