Mine was found on a label in the trunk...I don't remember exactly where, I think I had to pull the trunk lining away and it was on a label underneath or alongside the lining. Wish it was as easy on the 2002 Explorer I bought, which requires pulling away the inside rear plastic side panels (or paying $$$ to a dealer to look for the code electronically with their computer.)
