Look underneath engine compartment to rear?
Please visit my BIO page for a link to my Saturn help site. under the link at the bottom that says "Starter" you will find a visual reference to the location of the starter and as to what it looks like.
to find starter...start at positive post on battery, follow big cable to end of cable........at which pointwill connect to starter
In a 1998 Saturn SL, the starter is located on the underside of the engine, near the transmission. To access it, you'll typically need to raise the vehicle and remove the protective cover if present. The starter is mounted to the engine block, and you'll find the electrical connections on the rear side.
You can find the starter relay switch in your 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse in the fuse box. The starter relay switch will be in the third column, at the top.
My 2000 GMC Jimmy is slow cranking. The battery voltage meter is showing charged so I am assuming that the starter is the problem. Where do I find the starter to remove it?
I just found the relay on my 1999 sc2.I have a standard tranny and I followed the wires from the clutch safety switch. My relay was up under the dash on the drivers side taped with electrical tape to the harness. Hard to see get agood flashlight. Probably at the top of starter- follow the + battery cable should connect to starter solenoid (relay)
It is located on the passenger side in the back of the motor The best way to get to it is from underneath the car. It is hard to find but it there. It tucked away
find the location of a 2000 hyundia elantra starter
That is part of the starter and is mounted on the top of the starter.
The wire from the battery to the starter does not include a fuse.
You should be able to find it under the battery, in the conjunction between the engine itself and transmission.
