Mine is doing this right now. I am going to replace the ignition coil. I just did a tune up on it (115000 miles) and I noticed occasionally it would arc from the coil. The tune-ip helped but I now have the problem you are having. Something I noticed, when the coil arcs the van doesn't run. When the arcing stops it starts just fine. My coil is arcing the sie to the tower. Once you take over the cover inside it should be obvious if it is arcing. You can't hear the arc with the cover in place and it should be very noticable visually.
