Bought my used 2003 Beetle with this light glowing & after 2 trips to the DEALER it was determined to be the seat belt latch on the drivers side.
You could have a vacuum leak, a bad controller, a bad air door or an electrical problem.......
Check charge in lines-you can get a guage at most auto parts stores.
The 2000 Beetle has a hydraulic clutch, which is self-adjusting. It's not self-BLEEDING, though, so if it feels real mushy you first figure out where it's leaking--air's getting in there somewhere--fix the leak, then bleed it like it was a brake system.
There is a large black plastic hose that runs from the air cleaner box (behind battery) to the intake manifold behind the engine. It is on the firewall behind that hose.
Yes it does.
If it is for the older air cooled engines, it means you are running hot and running hot means no oil.
Have the SRS repaired by a qualified technician and they will reset the light.
The air bag light is on because there is a problem with the air bag system. Until the problem is fixed the light will remain on. When the problem is fixed the light will reset itself.
