On my '97 Tahoe the owners manual has detailed instructions on how to reset the compass. This of course will only work with a compass mirror that has power. So does the mirror display directions but just incorrect or is there no display indicating that there is no power? The former can be cleared by selecting the region and driving around in circles a few times; the latter will require a little wire chasing or that you have a defective mirror module.
What fuse controls the mirror and compass and temperature in a 2003 Chevy tahoe
in the mirror duhhh
fuse number 49 under the hood
In a 1999 Chevrolet Tahoe, the power mirror fuse is located in the fuse box under the dashboard on the driver's side. Specifically, you should look for the fuse labeled "PWR MIRR," which is typically a 10-amp fuse. If you're having trouble finding it, refer to the owner's manual for a detailed fuse layout. Always remember to check the fuse for continuity if the power mirrors are not functioning.
That might be hard to answer. The vans never came with the compass in the mirror so its probably part of the conversion package. usually the mirror is tapped into the lighted visor circuit. Does anything else not work?
Go to your owner's manual, it will tell you where to look.
Where is the ecu fuse on a 2003 Tahoe
had this problem with my 95 tahoe.. replaced the accuator no help check the 4wd fuse in the fuse box near the drivers door 20 amp...........
Good luck. Took my 2003 to a mechanic. We checked both fuse panels, each fuse and found them all good. Can't find anything that shows where the fuse is.
Your automatic dimming rear view mirror may not be working as well. If so, you have a blown fuse. A 5 amp fuse I believe.
What is a mirror fuse?
Yes, there is a fuse for the speakers in a 2001 Chevy Tahoe located in the fuse panel box under the dash.
