The two clips are correct, most dealer say you have to replace the full regulator but you dont. the clip part numbers are - 15286776, 15286777, dealers here charge 25-30 bucks each clip. you can get them online for 15 but they tack on 10 dollars shipping so same price. they just pop on easy repair from all i read.
It can be a broken wire in the hinge area, a bad switch, or simply a bad window regulator.See this post for instructions on how to diagnose the problem:
Yes
Ok I got the window replace but how do you adjust it so that it runs up and down on the track properly? The front side of the window keeps falling off the track because the window rolls down crooked. Thanks
The rubber is dry; use a silicone based lube roll windows all the way down and spray all the rubber that guides the window up and down
For a Buick Rendezvous, the driver's side window is typically powered by a fuse located in the fuse box under the dashboard. The specific fuse for the driver's side window can vary by model year, but it is often labeled as "Power Window" or similar. It's important to consult the owner's manual or the fuse box cover for the exact fuse number and description for your specific vehicle. If the driver's side window is not functioning, checking this fuse is a good first step.
Depends on wats wrong with it if it doesnt go down or up it may be the window motor or the window regulator. If it goes down but its hard for it to go up you should check if the rubber corridor is crooked or it just needs sum lubricant like 3m silicone paste
Sounds like the motor is disconnected from the window, or the gear may be stripped. == == == == go to a place that works with motors and ask what might be wrong
Possibly because you have your window lock on. Some cars are that way. If not that, then you probably have an electrical problem in the system. It could also be that the window are off the track. Either way, you need to take it to a mechanic.
Remove the 1997 Chevrolet Suburban drivers side door panel. The window mechanism will be visible. Place the new window into the window track. Secure the window to the track.
I have a 2000 oldsmobile and i had this problem with the drivers side. come to find out it was the switch and not the motor. If you check with a local junk yard you can pick up a good one for half the cost. I did replace the window motor but it still didnt work. i recommend the switch first then if that doesnt fix it then invest in teh window motor. save urself some money.
Oh yes!! I just got busted at the inspection station. VA. law states that the drivers side window is the only window that must work on it's own power to pass inspection.
Take your door panel off and replace them...
