Check the vaccuum lines for a leak. or the headlite switch itself may have a leak in the air lines. If they won't close...that's where I started on mine and found the leak, sealed it and it fixed it right up
what is the fuel pressure on a 1983 Lincoln mark 6
The headlight door system on those cars, and all the other Ford products with similar headlight doors, run on vacuum. If you look underneath the car, you'll see a big silver vacuum canister for each side. Anyway, the short answer is the vacuum leaks out. My '77 Mark V's headlight doors open after about 4 hours. When you start your car, the engine vacuum is restored and they go back down.
Yes it will if the 96 is a standard Mark Vlll, if the 96 is a LSC model it won't.
There was no 1990 Lincoln Mark VI. The final year for production of the Mark VI was 1983.
