Might be the child lock is on. check that. I have a 98 Metro Lsi 4 door. and my door did the same ...but the child locks were bad and I had to have sum1 cut out those child locks. otherwise theyd never open ..good luck.
You have to take the door apart
either the child safety lock is on or the rods inside the door to the handle have come off.
push it out
Child lock is probably on . take it to a shop and have them cut out the child locks. Most of the Metros had defective child locks. mine did. i couldn't never open the back doors . take it in . ... good luck.
To change the driver side headlight on a 1999 Chevy Metro, first, open the hood and locate the headlight assembly. Disconnect the electrical connector by pressing the tab and pulling it off. Remove the headlight by unscrewing the retaining screws or bolts, then replace it with a new bulb, ensuring it's securely in place. Finally, reconnect the electrical connector and test the headlight before closing the hood.
use your key to unlock the driver door and manually unlock the right back door
Unattach the door
when you open the driver door, you can get to it from the side of the dash. you can only open it when the door is open
To fix a driver's side backdoor that won't open on a 1992 Suburban, first check the door latch mechanism for any obstructions or damage. Remove the interior panel to access the latch and cable, inspecting for any broken components. If the latch is stuck, lubricate it with a penetrating oil. If the cable is broken or disconnected, replace or reattach it to restore functionality.
