A K&N type (also made by Borla, Fram and others) cotton/gauze airfilter, factory replacement type (K&N # 33-2042), or a fuel injection performance kit (but they are not always street legal) (K&N # 57-3017-2) will allow air into the engine easier, increasing fuel mileage if you keep your foot out of it. Also try a freer flowing exhaust - headers, after cat systems, or even just a good performance muffler (Borla, Flowmaster, Aero, etc). These will all be a good start, or if properly selected, will be a big help, including power increases - again, keep your foot out of it. Synthetic oils - engine, transmissiion, transfer case and diffs also help, but seem spendy for what they are, although they offer better lubrication and temperature protection as well.
