I have a 54 Mondeo and the fusebox is behind the glove box on the passenger side. Open glove box, remove clip. Inside top left pull in sides of glovebox as you lower and pull out glove box you will then see fuses but unless you have hands the size of a 5 year old you will have trouble. Also I put a 30 amp fuse in as the 15 amp recommended kept blowing every couple of months which is pretty common apparently.
Its behind the glove box
On a Ford Mondeo MK4, the fuse for the cigarette lighter is typically located in the fuse box under the dashboard. It is usually labeled as "Cigar Lighter" or "Accessory." You should check the owner's manual for the exact fuse number and location, as it can vary by model year and trim. If the lighter is not working, it's a good idea to inspect and replace the fuse if necessary.
HI, THE CIGAR LIGHTER FUSE IS LOCATED BEHIND THE GLOVE BOX
It's behind the glove box and a 15amp fuse
In a 2008 Ford Mondeo, the fuse for the cigarette lighter (also known as the accessory power outlet) is typically located in the fuse box under the dashboard. It is usually labeled as "Cigar" or "Accessory." You can refer to the owner's manual for the exact fuse number and location, as it may vary depending on the specific model and configuration. If the lighter isn't working, check this fuse and replace it if necessary.
On a Right hand drive Mondeo, it's behind the glovebox (you have to remove the glovebox to get at the fuses).
How do I fix my cigarette lighter when fuse is good
under the dashboard if you pull a lever out it pops down
The fuse for the cigarette lighter in a 2012 Ford Mondeo is located in the fuse box, which is typically found under the dashboard on the driver's side. You can check the owner's manual for the exact fuse number, but it is usually labeled as "Cigarette Lighter" or "Power Outlet." Make sure to replace the fuse with one of the same amperage to avoid any electrical issues.
Did you check for a blown fuse?
try the fuse
If the cigarette lighter is not working and the ACC fuse, inside the car, left of steering wheel, is still good (radio is working), the "fuse" on the back side of the cigarette lighter socket, a brown wire, has blown. Socket needs to be replaced or fixed with a soldering iron and a new wire.
