You have to disconnect the negative battery cable for about fifteen minutes. than reconnect the cable than the radio will display loc on the screen. you than have to enter in the lock code which should be in your manual or you will have to contact the Chevy dealership for the unlock code.
run the car for a hour and then turn the key to the on position and push the number 2 and 3 button on radio and it will give you a four digit code. Write it down you will need this to get your next code to put in the radio for it to work

its the accessory fuse in my 2001 metro.. found that out when my cigarrette ligher blue the fuse and the radio didnt work... On my car it was the same fuse as the dome light. This can be found under a white cover, on the drivers side, under the dash.
