Disconnect the negative battery terminal. Disconnect the wires on the back of the starter and remove the bolts holding the starter to the bell housing. Remove the old starter and reverse the procedure for installing the new one.

Remove the intake manifold. The starter is underneath.
Starter solenoid is on the starter. Transmission solenoids are inside the transmission.

1st thing to do is get a test light, and see if you are getting voltage to the starter. If you cant do this, then don't waste money buying parts-take it to a mechanic. You may have a security system problem. you may need a new crank sensor
