If it still has a coil and points type ignition you need to make a jumper to run from the Battery + to the + side of the coil. This will give you ignition power. Then you can jump across the starter battery post of the solenoid to the small terminal post closet to the engine to get it to crank over. This will allow it to start and run until the jumper wire is removed. Normally the power wire has a resistor built into it to reduce the voltage on point type ignitions. But it will work for short periods of time.
You're kidding, right?
My key broke of om the inginion
The best way is to pick the lock and hotwire the engine.
No.
I believe 1967 for Chevy cars and 1972 for Chevy trucks.
I'm assuming you mean "hotwire"? Don't try it. You will fry the computer.
This is a question whose answer could potentially be used for the commission of illegals. As such, we can't answer it here.
We need to know what sending unit you are asking about, there are several.
No a 1972 Chevy pickup is not the same model as a 1973 Chevy pickup. I believe it goes from 1967-1972, 1973-1980, 1981-1987. Doors will work from 1973-1976, 1977-1987. You would need to find 1972 doors as they are the only ones taht will fit a 1972. 1967-1971 are the same but there is something different about 1972 doors.
No.
