i did it on my 2001 intrigue, pretty easy, but make sure you have enough ventilation. Remove the cover from the trunk and locate the tank lock at the trunk. With a flat head screwdriver , tap the cover till it comes loose. (tool not needed) then you will be able to pull pump and replace in reverse order. took me about 45 min. (have to get in and out of trunk few times. (try to do it with a low level of gas in tank. & avoid gas fumes by doing job in well ventillated area, i did it under a tree outside)
No, they are two seperate sensors.
How do you install an oil level sensor 2007 Tahoe
The O2 sensor bank 1 sensor 1 on a 1998 Oldsmobile Intrigue is part of the vehicle's emissions control system. It's located before the catalytic converter on the bank of cylinders that includes the number one cylinder, typically the driver’s side for V6 engines. This sensor measures the level of oxygen in the exhaust gases, allowing the engine control unit to adjust the air-fuel mixture for optimal combustion and emissions. A malfunctioning O2 sensor can lead to decreased fuel efficiency and increased emissions.
hi, fans will work when power is jumped direct to fan wiring, . but not with relays or sensors, replaced relay number one but still not working as factory set up. is sensor on radiator a coolant level sensor or fan sensor to trigger relays
Unfortunatly there isn't one. I am actually looking for an aftermarket oil level sensor to install in my 1994 silverado.
If the oil level is fine, your oil level sensor or the sensor wiring is malfunctioning. Same for the ABS system. Check ABS fuses.
The fuel level sensor is shorted or a wire is shorted.
I took this apart and found no sensor on the overlow what so ever. Could it be located somwhere else? was this a change over year? At the bottom of the overflow can (where you fill it up).
To check the transmission fluid in a 2001 Oldsmobile Intrigue, start by warming up the engine and then parking the vehicle on a level surface. With the engine running, locate the transmission dipstick, which is usually near the back of the engine. Remove the dipstick, wipe it clean, reinsert it, and then pull it out again to check the fluid level. The fluid should be within the marked range on the dipstick; if it’s low, add the appropriate transmission fluid as specified in the owner's manual.
The oil level light on your 1999 Oldsmobile Silhouette may stay on for several reasons, including low oil level, a faulty oil pressure sensor, or issues with the oil pump. First, check the oil level using the dipstick and add oil if it's low. If the oil level is adequate, the sensor could be malfunctioning, or there might be a problem with the oil pressure. It's advisable to have the vehicle checked by a mechanic to diagnose the issue accurately.
If the coolant system (radiator and reservoir) is full and the light remains on, the probe on the coolant level sensor is probably dirty. Remove it from the radiator, clean it gently with brake clean and an old toothbrush, re-install it, refill coolant system and you should be good to go.
The low water level sensor is in your radiator overflow resivoir. The reservoir is supposed to have a certain amount of coolant in it but if it's low, the light comes on. This has nothing to do with the radiator being empty. True, if the reservoir is left unchecked the radiator may eventually become low and then you will overheat but until then, it's just telling you the reservoir is low.
