To install gauges, first, select the appropriate mounting location on your dashboard or panel. Use the manufacturer’s instructions to wire the gauge, connecting power, ground, and signal wires as needed. Secure the gauge in place using mounting hardware or brackets, and ensure it is level and visible. Finally, test the gauge to confirm proper operation before finalizing the installation.
Just follow the directions that you get with the gauges.
You need gauges and a refrigerant recovery system.
First remove the two screws in the plastic cover surrounding the gauges. This piece snaps out, be gentle!! Then remove the 2 screws at the base of the gauges, also there is 1 screw at the top of the gauges. Then pull the gauges out, disconnect the three wiring harnesses. Thats it. simmpler then it sounds. Good luck
Many people fabricate their own but it is real hard because of the temp gauges
it is possible, but you would also have to install the wiring harness, computer, and gauges from the vehicle which you are taking the v-tec from
That means that the the voltage regulator on your speedo cluster is busted. You can replace the whole cluster quite easily. Pretty much unscrew and unplug the cluster and install a new (or good used one.) Why not take this opportunity to install one with a rev counter. The 1600 cluster with the rev counter works on the 1300.
Just start removing the dash panels. I'm no car pro, but I did do my gauges in my 99 zx2 and it was real simple. When you get the dash panels off you'll see more panels to take off the instrument panel. Do that and you gots access to your gauges. Then hardwire into your dimmer switch to get the indiglo lighting powered up.
Check the gauges. One or more of the gauges must be out of normal range to trip the "check gauges" light.
C. Temperature and Sanitizer Gauges
The check gauges light means that one of the gauges is out of the safe range.
Check the temperature and pressure using two different gauges record both then either replace the T&P or install an expansion tank
nope, no gauges
