To install a GMC emblem on a grill, first clean the area where the emblem will be placed to ensure good adhesion. If the emblem has adhesive backing, simply align it with the designated spot on the grill and press firmly to secure it. For emblems that require screws or clips, use the appropriate tools to attach them securely. Finally, check that the emblem is properly aligned and firmly attached before finishing the installation.
Between the grill and the radiator are three or four posts (I cant remember exactly how many, but you will be able to see) which hold the emblem in place. Using a flat head screwdriver gently lift up and push on the tabs inside of grill. This will release the emblem.
The grill emblem usually has triangles (pointing down) on the top edge of the inside of the grill. The oven emblem does not have triangles inside the area that the oven door would be.
There are 2 small nuts on the back side of the emblem
The grill on a GMC Sierra truck is replaced by removing the surrounding trim and retaining bolts. The grill is then pulled from the vehicle and a new grill put into place.
