The ones I have worked on, you replace the line that goes from the condenser towards the firewall. The orifice tube is captured in the firewall end of the line, between the high side & low side valve fittings.
Remove the inside door panel from your 2003 Chevy Silverado pickup truck. Remove the wiring harness from your heated side mirror. Remove the mirror retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install the new mirror.
NO.
To install the orifice tube in a 2003 Chevrolet Suburban, first ensure the vehicle is off and the AC system is fully discharged. Locate the orifice tube, which is typically found in the liquid line between the condenser and the evaporator. Remove the old orifice tube using pliers or a puller, clean the area, and then insert the new orifice tube, ensuring it is seated properly. Finally, reassemble any components and recharge the AC system.

Direct bolt on. NO. You will have to modify the bed mounting brackets to put a 98 on a 2003 and then none of the body lines will match up and the truck will look REAL FUNNY.

I got a 2003 Chevy silverado 4x4 z71 stock suspension , and i install on it 285/75r16 tires, that's the biggest tire that you can use, i put that tire size to in a 2002 Chevy silverado work truck 4x2, with no problems. You can trust, good luck.
