Blazers have pretty loud fuel pumps...they are a common problem ...when you turn your key to the "on " position, you should hear a high pitched "whine" for several seconds until the system is pressurized can also tell if you are not getting fuel by spraying a few short bursts of starting fluid into the intake it runs and dies, no fuel is getting delivered...you are just running off the starting fluid...only do this spareingly....starting fluid is hard on engines...just a short 2-3 second "puff" is all you need...it could also be the regulator.....but it would have been progressively hard to start if it was...good luck
If its hard to start it probably your fuel pump going out .You will know when it out you will go run your batteries dead trying to start it. the pump is in your fuel tank.
It kind of sounds like some kind of fuel problem. Check your fuel filter, and your fuel pump I would recommend checking your air filters to. -PJ

I would like to know if my 2002 chevy blazer with a stock 4.3 vortec pull 2000 lbs ?
Need to know what year the vehicle is.
Need to know what year
Same thing happend to me...i have a 2000 blazer, turned out it was water in the fuel (how it got there i dont know). Also it could be the fuel pump
Call a parts store and tell them what you need and they will give you the right fuel pump for your truck.
your not burning all the fuel in one or more of your cylinders. Check your spark plugs and fuel injectors.
you will get a hint when the car begins to lose power, start to sputter, or even stall.
