some owners have stated they have found the code on a sticker on or near the PCM (usually down in the passenger footwell, by the glove compartment/kick panel). Also, others have said they have found the code on a sticker in the passenger compartment fuse box (usually below and to the left of the steering column. I have never needed to check my vehicle for the code, so I can not vouch for the accuracy of that information. But it is worth it for you to take a look. I found mine on my 2002 mountaineer and apparently 02 to 05 are the same. Open back passenger side door on your left where the seat belt goes into the wall behind all that is your code. remove the panels carefully by pulling on them top on first pull out then down. Second one pull out and up. near the door opening you will see a black box labeled security unit, on that box look you will see only one set of five numbers, there is your code.
My code was located in the compartment with my jack. It is on the side of the white computer box. Hope this helps.

The fuel pump relay is located behind the passenger side kick panel, according to the owners manual. However, I cannot locate the reset switch on mine.
