Try the old way - inserting the key into the door lock. Also try the passenger door ... it may be a little inconvenient to enter/exit the car vehicle that way, but at least you'll be inside and driving it instead of being on the outside cursing the drivers door.

Power Door locks (on passenager side) kickpanel. Windows are in the doors. Others Passenager side front near radiator.
Jiggle the Handle was created in 1989.
Assuming its not a power window...and you wnat to remove the cranking handle... Possibility: look behind the handle for a U-shaped spring clip that fits into slots on the handle "sleeve". This clip will have two small tangs that can be levered to push it back out of the slots in the handle.
Under the hood, in your power distribution box. Located near the front of your engine, or on the drivers side near firewall.

All you have to do is if its a power window truck is take the screws out of the door panel and pop all the clips loose. Then unplug the window and lock switches. There are 3 bolts that hold the mirror on behind door panel. If manual locks and windows, mainly the same but dont have to unplug wires but have to pop clip off handle for window and lock.
On a 1989 Ford Aerostar : I believe the oil pressure sending unit for the oil pressure gauge on the 4.0 liter EFI , V6 engine is on the drivers side of the engine below the power steering pump
