According to what I'm reading, DIY programming isn't a feature available on that vehicle, and you'd need to have an OBD diagnostic tool hooked up to access the keyless entry module in order to do it - and I'm not talking about the kind you'd get at Auto Zone. When I do them, I use a Snap-On Modis.... feel free to look up the price on those if you're thinking of buying one. I typically charge customers $50 for programming their key fob... dealerships will charge one hour labor minimum, so expect them to charge $100 - $150 for it.

To change key fob battery in 2011 Chrysler 300, simply release the cover by using a screwdriver to take off the battery cover. Then, replace the old battery with a new CR2032 3V/225mAh Lithium coin cell battery. Slide the cover back on and screw the little screw in place.
