How do you program key-less remote transmitters for 2005 Pontiac GTO?

I've heard that you put y The key in and turn ignition on but not start, wait 10 mins, the horn will honk, within 5mins turn the key of then, back to on, wait 10 mins, horn will honk, turn off then, turn key to on, wait 10 mins, horn will honk, turn key off. Security light should go out and you should be able to start your car, also after starting, check for functions on remote key. Do not wait a long intervals when starting these procedure I.e.. After horn honks , immediately turn key off, wait just a couple seconds, then turn key back to on position. Good luck!
