How do you program keyless remote on a 1998 Ford F150?

To program a keyless remote on a 1998 Ford F-150, sit in the truck and close all doors. Insert the key and cycle it from OFF to RUN eight times within 10 seconds, ending in RUN. The locks will cycle. Press any button on the remote. Locks cycle again to confirm. Turn the key off.

Hey,

I have a 98 f-150 as well (I'm a lock smith by the way)

Mine doesn't have the feature too get a factory fobb (remote) but too check if yours does all you have too do is.

Get in your truck shut the doors, take your ignition from the off too on position 8 times (really fast) ending in the off position.

If the doors lock, your truck we'll accept the fobb, just hit any button on it directly after the doors lock.

If not, you can by an aftermarket fobb at autozone or something...
