I would like to tow my blazer behind my motorhome is there a way to do this I had my manual stolen out of my vehicle so I can't look in there, can you help me out.
Yes, you can put a 1998 4WD S10 drive-train on a 1997 Chevy Blazer. However, it will not be an easy process and will require a lot of work to get it installed correctly.
Yes, it will swap right over with no problems at all. Its the exact same.
I have a stock 1999 Zr2 Blazer and and it has 33x12.50s on it. (but it rubs)
unless ones put in for racing or offroad it wont have one.
NO.. It will not even begin to bolt up.In late 1999 chevy REDESIGNED all the engines and transmissions. Everything from late 1999 and up is DIFFERENT then late 1999 and down. Nothing will interchange.
bottom of engine 1 bolt pull it out and put the new one in
Put it in neutral and push it in reverse for about 500 feet it should kick out.
Regular unleaded, 87 octane. Anything else is a waste of money.
if its like my 84 put it in neutral on the shifter then select the 4x4 gear on the 4x4 shifter then place the shifter in d or r
wat other motor can i put in my 2001 chevy blazer
You can but they say you should remove the drive shaft if you do. If you just put it in neutral there is a possibility that a bump could cause it to drop into gear and tear up the drivetrain.
Stop the vehicle, put it in neutral, depress the clutch (if a manual transmission), pull the transfer case lever back one position from the 2HI position.
