To remove the ignition switch from a 1993 Ford Bronco, first disconnect the negative battery cable to prevent electrical issues. Then, remove the steering column cover by unscrewing the necessary screws. Once exposed, locate the ignition switch, disconnect the wiring harness, and unscrew the ignition switch from its mounting. Finally, pull the switch out, and you can replace it with a new one if needed.

It is controlled by the ignition key. It has no inertia switch if that is what you are asking about.

to replace the switch u will need the key to the old ignition switch. its as simple as getting a t15 bits to take off the steering colum and unscrewing the switch i think the bit size is t25 and you need a special bit with a hole in the center of it. you take off the steering wheel column covers.
